The original owenr is alive and well so the story is 100% accurate. All comics were purhcased on the newsstand from 1937 to 1943. Yhe owner then went to serve in wwii. While he was gone, relatives read the books and treaetd some of them roughly. When he rteurned form the war, he got the books back. Unfortunately, some were missing and some were damaged and many lost thier covers. We will be offering both complete books and books that have no covers which we have created reproduction covers for. There are some rare isuses and major keys in the collection. Most of the books have off-white to white pages.

More fun comics #52 and detective comics #35 are just 2 of the many complete unrestored original owner classics that will be available for the 1st time. Who will the second owner be? Stay tuned and hope you enjoy the collection as much as we do. The owner loved batman.

This example is a vg/fine that looks better but has some spine wear. The book lies almost completely flat as shows very well for the grade with a glossy clean cover.
